GGBS Grinding Plant
Introduction
GGBS grinding Plant refers to a complete production line that uses Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) as raw material and processes it into high-fineness slag micro-powder through grinding technology. The GGBS grinding line is an important supporting process in the cement and concrete industries, aiming to convert blast furnace slag into high-performance admixtures, enhance the durability of concrete and reduce carbon emissions.

The process flow of GGBS grinding plant

1.Raw material pretreatmen
- Cooling and crushing: High-temperature liquid blast furnace slag is quenched in water and cooled to form granular slag (with a particle size of approximately 5 to 20mm), which is then roughly crushed by jaw crushers and cone crushers.
- Iron removal and screening: Magnetic separators are used to remove metal iron impurities, and vibrating screens are used for classification to ensure the uniformity of particles.
2.Grinding and classification
- Grinding equipment:The vertical mill is characterized by high efficiency and energy conservation, and is suitable for large-scale continuous production.Ball mills are suitable for small-scale applications or scenarios with extremely high requirements for product fineness
- Grading system:The fineness of the finished product is controlled by an air flow classifier (specific surface area ≥400㎡/kg, usually 420-500㎡/kg is required). The substandard particles are returned to the grinding chamber for recycling treatment.
3.Dust removal
Equipped with pulse bag dust collectors and wet dust removal systems, the dust emission concentration is ≤10mg/m³ (conforming to the GB 4915-2013 standard).
4.Finished product storage and packaging
The finished slag micro-powder is pneumatically conveyed to the silo for moisture-proof storage.
The packaging specifications are bulk (for direct use in cement plants) or bagged (50kg/ bag).
