Cement Clinker Grinding Plant
Introdution
The cement clinker grinding Plant is also called cement clinker grinding unit,It is one of the critical steps in the cement production process. Its core objective is to further grind calcined clinker (typically with particle sizes ranging from 5 mm to 25 mm) into fine powder with a specific surface area ≥300 m²/kg, ensuring compliance with the hydration reaction requirements of cement.

Process

Mixing: Clinker, gypsum, and blended materials (e.g., 85% clinker + 5% gypsum + 10% slag) are fed into the grinding system in predefined proportions.
Pre-grinding: A roller press applies high-pressure extrusion to crush the materials into fine particles.
Final grinding: A ball mill or vertical roller mill further grinds the particles to the target fineness.
Separation: Qualified fine powder is directed to the finished product silo, while coarse particles are returned for regrinding.
